Okay friends, get ready for the cutest couple and love story!! Meet Ryan and Lindey, these two are getting married this summer and I must say I’m quite excited. Lindey and Ryan met nearly 10 years ago in high school, although they didn’t start dating immediately, Lindey had a crush on Ryan. After starting their relationship, they both knew that they would be in this for the long haul. After being together for 8 years (YES! 8 YEARS!), Ryan knew it was time to ask Lindey to marry him. Of course Ryan had it planned out perfectly. He hired AL Weddings to photograph the special moment but had Lindey believe she won a photo contest! How adorable is that!! After booking the photographer, Sara with AL Weddings reached out to Lindey to congratulate her on this “giveaway”. This prompted Lindey to find the perfect outfit, get her hair, nails and makeup done for the shoot! After taking several photos and even changing locations, Ryan found the perfect moment to ask Lindey to be his forever. Of course Lindey said yes! She says it was the easiest decision she has ever made. So sweet!!
Ryan & Lindey can’t wait to become husband and wife and they are SO excited for the first look. Seeing your person on wedding day, all dressed up, ready to marry you is a feeling like no other. Congratulations, Lindey & Ryan! I can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Hi friends! Can you believe it’s almost the end of 2020?! This year looked quite different for us but I sure am excited to continue to share some beautiful weddings we were a part of this year. Today I want to share with you Katie & William’s intimate summer wedding. This precious couple ended up planning a few different wedding days but once again, due to COVID, things changed. I will say it was absolutely perfect in every way! After their many changes, their wedding took place at William’s grandmother’s house with a reception to follow at his childhood home.
Katie’s dear friend, Lauryn Prattes with Lauryn Prattes Styling & Events, designed and planned this beautiful wedding which made every decision so memorable and special for Katie. With Lauryn’s guidance, Katie knew her wedding was going to be everything she could ever want! Although Lauryn designed and planned her best friend’s wedding, she also served another role in the wedding, as Matron Of Honor. Since Lauryn would be quite busy on wedding day, Katie hired me to execute her wedding day so she could relax and enjoy her perfect day.

Meet sweet Dorothy & Jeffery! These two cuties met while in Dental School at UAB and started a sweet friendship before officially dating. After 2 years of dating, Jeffrey finally knew it was time to ask Dorothy to be his forever! Dorothy said Jeffery had the ring for a few months but of course planning an engagement during a pandemic is quite challenging and went through several options but finally decided on the perfect plan. A week before his birthday in September, the two walked to dinner at one of their favorite spots. After dinner, they went on their usual after dinner walk with their precious pup, Bonnie. According to him, it was completely unplanned, but the time was right. He proposed! Dorothy said it was a perfect evening with a perfect ending! How sweet!! Jeffery & Dorothy will tie the knot next fall in Birmingham and they can’t wait to celebrate with their friends and families. Enjoy these photos from Eric & Jamie Photography!

Hi loves, here we are, the end of 2020. I think it’s safe to say we are all ready to say “Good riddance” to 2020 and welcome 2021 with open arms! What a year this has been for the wedding & event industry. We could have never imagined all of the obstacles and hardships that we would be faced this year. We started our year off smooth sailing with Hannah & Joey in Hoover and ended the year with lots of changes (thanks to Covid) with Katie & Mason in downtown Birmingham. 2020 brides will always hold a special place in our hearts but we are ready for 2021!
This year really showed me even more why I love wedding planning and this little business. It reminded me of the reason why I wanted to help these beautiful brides to begin with. I love seeing all of their dreams come together and I love making memories with them that will last a lifetime. I truly love helping these precious brides have the most beautiful day of their lives. Seeing their expressions on wedding day remind me just how much I love this wonderful job of mine.Cheers to 2021!

It was so sweet seeing Lee anxiously waiting to see his bride for their first look and let me tell you, she was glowing! They said their vows on the terrace and spent the sunset of the golf course just before heading into the reception where all of their family and friends danced the night away with them. Whitney knew exactly what she wanted her wedding day to look like and it was so fun seeing her vision come together!
