Jamie & Margaret Engagement
Jamie and Margaret met in Auburn, Alabama in 2014 as fellow members of the Auburn University Marching Band, playing the quads and the marimba respectively. One night, Margaret and Jamie decided to go out to Mellow Mushroom with some friends. As Jamie was walking Margaret back to her dorm, he kissed her by the famous lathe next to Samford Hall to test the legend, and was pleased to see it remain dormant (meaning they would stay together forever!). Could they be any cuter?!
Margaret and Jamie remained together for the next five years while Jamie completed his Aerospace Engineering degree and went on to work at NASA and Margaret went on to obtain a masters of statistics at the University of Denver.
Jamie decided it was time to tie the knot while visiting Margaret in Colorado. While hiking in Boulder, Jamie made the proposition which was accepted and celebrated with many fajitas and margaritas!
