Honeymoon Destination Spots | Kendal Perry
Hello, Sweet Brides!
Today, I want to help you brides with post-wedding details; the Honeymoon! This is something I personally loved planning for myself and my groom. While I loved planning out every detail of your wedding, the honeymoon can be more relaxed now that the big day is over and it can be so much fun to plan that special time with your new hubby! Whether your plans are for the day after your wedding or you wait a while to take that special trip, planning and looking forward to your honeymoon should be enjoyable. I have helped things along by suggesting some great honeymoon destinations that you may not have thought of in hopes of helping you find your perfect honeymoon destination!
My first destination spot is Hawaii. This is great for relaxation, exploration, and to experience native Hawaiian culture. With flowers galore, waterfalls, pineapple plantations, leis, and luaus, romance is in the air in Hawaii! Although flights can be on the more expensive side of the budget, this will be a trip full of unforgettable memories!
Another option for our beach-loving couple would be St. Lucia or Turks and Caicos. Although many people worry about budget when going out of the country, many Caribbean islands offer fabulous all-inclusive resorts. Saving money for your honeymoon of sunny days and crystal blue waters is a decision you won’t regret for a memorable trip like this!
Next, another spot in the states is not too far from home for all of my Alabama brides; Charleston, South Carolina! This town has so much to see and do. This historical city is full of charm from its beaches to colorful row houses, intimate carriage rides, and of course, it’s fabulous food! You will not run out of things to do in this city!
The second on this state side list is Colorado. While this may not be the typical honeymoon spot, it’s a great option for the couple who loves the outdoors! If you go in the winter, experience the gorgeous mountains by skiing, sledding or snowmobiling. In the summer there are also great activities such as hiking, horseback riding, and soaking up the breath-taking scenery!
I’d love to know what you decided and about your experiences; let me hear from you!
xoxo,
Kendal
