I have been shooting weddings since October of 2015, and the years have just flown by since!
When I first started photography I connected most with people vs. shooting products, brand photography or really anything else. So it quickly became my dream to photograph weddings one day! Couples really are my favorite. It is so fun to walk with them through such a cool season in life.
I absolutely love when couples do not do a first look (shocker, I know) and see each other for the first time walking down the aisle. There is always such raw emotion in that time and I have gotten teary eyed a good bit before. It is just the best!
I have had the best clients, literally the best! They have been kind, don’t sweat the small stuff, and trust me to do my job. I really cannot ask for more than that!
It is so important to keep in perspective that you are not just planning a wedding, but most importantly entering a marriage! Doing things like marriage counseling and pouring into each other throughout the planning season is so vital. Weddings are incredible days you get to have together, but I encourage people to keep this perspective when they are getting overwhelmed with planning. Also surround yourself with vendors that will help you have fun, and keep you calm- not stress you out!
Welcome to the KP blog! My name is Kendal and I’m so happy you’re here. It’s been my dream for quite some time to own a wedding planning company and now the time has finally arrived! I am certain that this will be the best journey in life and I’m so excited to finally show you what we’ve been working on for the past few months! Take a look around, love. I can’t wait to meet you!
